The minor team had the honour of being the first underage team from the Club to play under the recently installed floodlights when they took on Ballycastle Gaels in Div.2 Football league at our Limerick Road grounds last night.

While the panel is very young, the management are happy with the progress & commitment shown by the players involved & therefore, are delighted with last nights win on a scoreline of 3-06 to 1-03 over the Ballyhooly/Castletownroche combination.

With the lads next league game coming up in a couple of weeks time on March 10th (TBC) versus Kilara Og, Manager Kieran Cotter has said "that while the lads worked well last night, there is a long way to go & a lot of effort needs to be put in before that game".
