The inter regional U16 final was played Sunday Feb 24 in CIT. The Northern Division took on West Cork.

The Mitchelstown club had great interest in the game as we had four players involved, Stephen Keneally, Ryan Donegan Dylan Sheehan and the team was Captained by Cormac Hyland.

Unfortunately it wasn't their day and they went down gallantly on a scoreline of 4.09 to 1.12. The North led by 2 points with just 8 minutes remaining but two quick goals by the West in the closing moments clinched the game for them.

Well done to the boys involved, they return to club action this week with the Minors.
