It was with great sorrow that we learned on Monday of the sudden passing of Annette Ahern (nee Courtney), daughter of Brenda & our esteemed Clubmate John.

Regretfully , we now share the following arrangements for the funeral of Annette which are as follows:

Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street tomorrow evening from 5pm to 8pm followed by removal to Mitchelstown Parish Church.

Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday at 2.30pm with burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown. 

Mitchelstown G.A.A. wish to offer our deepest condolences to Annette's husband Gary, her loving parents Brenda & John, her brother Maurice & his fiancee Orla, her Grandmother Maureen, The Ahern family, her aunts, uncles, relations, friends & her neighbours from Liam Lynch Park & Murroe as well as her colleagues from An Garda Síochána & all others who mourn her passing.

We would invite past & present members of Mitchelstown G.A.A. to meet up in New Square tomorrow evening at 7.15pm where we will walk together to the Chapel of Rest to pay our respects to Annette & The Courtney family.
