Will You Be There ?

Today is the day that we've been waiting for since the County IFC draw was made last December.

We travel to Churchtown to take on Kanturk under the watchful eye of Referee Cathal Ó Murchu  from the Brian Dillons Club.

Kanturk  of course are a very seasoned team & they have had the upper hand in our most recent Championship games of 2011 & 2016.

As such they will rightly go into this evening's game as hot favourites with Aidan Walsh & John McLoughlin both Senior Intercounty footballers no doubt leading their charge.

Mitchelstown have several survivors of that 2011 Co. Final mixed with a lot of younger players who will be expecting to make their Championship debuts tonight.
