Cork Intermediate Football Championship Round 1.

Mitchelstown will face Kanturk for the second year in a row on Saturday evening next in Churchtown.

Town have not had it easy against Kanturk in recent years having lost to the Duhallow men in round 2a of last years Championship on a scoreline of 0-20 to 1-11 & also in the 2011 County Junior Final.

We will have our work cut out to get a result against next weeks opposition but we are hopeful that our team will take on this mighty challenge & work together as a team to defy all the odds & overcome a Kanturk team that has caused us a lot of anguish in recent times.
