Mitchelstown 0-13 Charleville 1-11

Town ran out of time & ideas this evening inthe Barnes Jewellers Avondhu U21 B Football Quarter -final.

We never seemed to get going in this game & had many wides in both halves & twice hit the crossbar in a game that was there for the taking & in fairness to this young team on other nights they might have came away with a victory but it certainly was not to be this evening as Charleville now move on to play Kilshannig in Tuesday's Semi-final.

We congratulateCharleville & wish them well in the next round.

While we were disapointed with this result, we thank the players & management for their efforts in this campaign & no doubt this young team will be back hoping that next year will bring greater rewards.
