Town continued good progress in this competition putting Shanballymore to the sword on Monday evening at our Limerick Road grounds.

With the slenderest of leads at half time, 0-06 to 0-05, Mitchelstown dug deep in the second period to secure full points & move themselves into second place in the table maintaining their unbeaten record after three games. 

Next up for this team is a home tie vs table toppers Ballyhooly which is due to be played on weekend of April 30th.
