Glenville 2-11 vs Mitchelstown 0-10

Despite beating Glenville in last years IFC , we have tasted league defeat for the second year in a row against them.

A lot of work needs to happen before we play Kanturk on April 22nd & today's game should give us a lot to chew on over the next few training sessions.

It took us 11 mins to get our first score but despite having 6 wides in the first half & playing against a strong breeze & the slope, we went in at half tme just 2 points down.

We were confident starting the 2nd half that we could turn things around & we quickly drew level but from there on we took our foot off & let Glenville gain momentum to force their way ahead again.

We only led once in the entire game so as disappointed as we are with our performance & the result, Glenville will I am sure be very happy with their days work.

Hopefully , we will take this result in a positive manner & work together to ensure that we bounce back from this defeat & turn up the tempo for the next few weeks.
